Do you feel happy all the time? Do you always expect to feel good, or feel you should always feel good? Or, do you feel bad and unhappy much of the time? (I am not referring to those of you who are suffering from depression, a diagnosable medical condition. That is a different level of emotion and should be treated appropriately.) I am speaking to those of you who may have you got into a habit of feeling bad. Are you someone who often finds themselves focusing on the negative much of the time? Are you a ‘glass half empty’ sort of person? If this resonates with you, you can change that attitude. You can start turning it around by choosing to feel good as often as possible.
It is not required to be giddy with joy every minute of every day; that would be a surprising state of being for most of us humans, but there is a level of contentment which one can achieve. It is a sense of being content, without becoming complacent or accepting of things that you could change. Contentment with the way your life is and knowing you can create even more good stuff! You can have this feeling of contentment most of the time, with many, many happy times and plenty of joyful times too. This is achievable!
So, with this in mind, are you willing to consciously allow yourself to feel happier? A little optimistic? To experience hope? Its really very simple to begin changing your mindset.
Check in with yourself emotionally once or twice a day, and ask yourself:
“How do I feel right now?
What can I do or think, to feel a little bit better?”
Then wait for an answer to come from within you.
Most of the insights you receive will be simple, like: “Smile” or “Let go”. Do your best to follow your own inner wisdom, and you’ll be amazed by how much better you feel . . . and how willing you’ll be to make the conscious choice to feel good more and more often!
Choose to find ways to feel better right now!
I love you, humanity,
