ALL-ROUND ABUNDANCE
Abundance is a goal for many of us. Coaches and healers use the word, abundance, freely and tell us how it is possible to manifest and achieve it. we all want it and use all the tactics and techniques we are told about to get it. But do we know what we are actually aiming for?
Do you want lots of money? How about a new wardrobe or a beautiful home full of new furniture? Have you dreamt of a yacht or would you prefer a sports car? Do you have to have a designer handbag or perhaps a Rolex? Do you dream of a 5 Star holiday in the Caribbean flying First Class? How about buying some land and then a horse to ride across it? Have you thought about having a personal hairdresser or beautician? Perhaps you desire a diamond necklace?
Definitely! But be aware, that all of these are the same form of abundance; they all stem from financial abundance. Everyone gets hung up on this one aspect and let’s face it, an abundance of money is pretty cool to have, but it is only one form of abundance. If you really want to experience abundance then you need to recognise ALL-ROUND ABUNDANCE.
ALL-ROUND ABUNDANCE is recognising the complete life experience of what you have in your life. It is the acknowledging of all the day to day joys, pleasant times, jaw-dropping moments, happiness, ‘wow factors’ and good times. What have you seen today that was awesome? Who did you meet today who made you smile? Which meal tickled your taste buds? There is opportunity for abundance in each moment of your day. You may not even be realising how abundant your life already is.
I was struck with this realisation when I was travelling to teach a workshop. In the taxi on the way to the airport, I enjoyed a great philosophical conversation with the cab driver. On arrival he pulled into the closest space to the Arrivals doorway so I could nip inside without having to walk far. I had checked in online thanks to my airline’s convenient App service and so avoided the chaos that appeared to be ensuring at the desk, and went straight to Security. Due partly to practice, and partly to intuition on picking the fastest line, I whipped through exchanging pleasantries with the guards. Inside the departure lounge, my favourite smell of freshly brewed coffee filled the air and my attention was immediately drawn to the beauty spa which were offering special deals on various services. Having been meaning to get a treatment the week before, I grabbed the opportunity and relaxed for 15 minutes enjoying the pampering. On boarding the plane, I noticed my seat had been changed and I had been given a free upgrade.’ Sweet’, I thought, and relaxed back in my very comfortable seat to look out of the window. As we took off, I was rewarded by the beautiful sight of a flock of large birds silhouetted across a purple sunset, with the Scottish mountains as a backdrop. A wow moment for my eyes and an inspirational realisation that ALL-ROUND ABUNDANCE is obtainable, everywhere, every day.
We can realise it through our own attitude, and by acknowledging the good stuff and living in the moment. ALL-ROUND ABUNDANCE is everywhere and yours to access.
